beautiful family

Lately I have been photographing a lot of family. It used to be really stressful and overwhelming but this family was so fun and easy to photograph. Even though the littlest one was running around he still did a great job at participating. I couldn't get these family photographs withought the fabulous help of my assistant, Jeana. Thanks! Just a little sneak peek for your wonderful family. There are a lot of great ones and I can't wait to show them all to you!

Baby "E"

This family was so adorable. I loved the connection they have and it shows through the images. Half way through the session the wind came out of nowhere and we were all freezing cold, but we all made it through. Thanks for humoring me with my crazy ideas!

Children's Hour

I photographed this little girl for a boutique called Children's Hour in Salt Lake. She is such a doll. I hope I get to photograph her again soon. If you haven't been into their store you should really check it out. They have amazing women and children's clothing, most of them European brands.

Off to get ready for yet another session...

More to Share

So last week I had 3 sessions back to back and this family was one of them. The mother is a friend of mine and she also does my hair. I have taken their pictures often, I think she may be as obsessed with pictures as I am. They are such a fun family with so much personality. Looking forward to the next time we get together!

Miss "M" again

I wanted to post a few more images for "M". Enjoy!

Pure Beauty

Isn't she just amazingly beautiful? Last night we had a really fun photography get together at my studio and "M" came to get some senior shots. She was so natural and easy to work with. I will have to beg her to let me photograph her again. She was such a great sport too, there were 5 of us crowded around her and watching her the whole time. She also has amazing taste in clothing. She brought a huge suitcase, so we had a good time! I only have a minute to post, but I love this shot, I think it is my favorite. I will post some more for sure later. I will be out of town this weekend in St. George, so other previews will have to wait until Monday. I couldn't decide if I liked in better in black and white or color.

More later,,.

5x5 trifold

I love this new template I bought from pinkinkstudios.com
It is meant to be a birth announcement, but I think it would work for Christmas or Engagment as well. Just had to play with it of course!

A boy and his.....

Calculator?? Yep, that is a calculator in his hands. One of the first things he said to me was, "What number are you?" Meaning, how old are you? So cute, eh?

I was so honored to take pictures of these adorable little guys for Wynona, who is an amazing photographer! I hope I captured what she wanted. It was pretty cold out and these boys still managed to have a good time. The younger one was so sweet, I could just see into his little soul. My little guy Tate also had a cleft lip when he was born. I always think how it will and does affect him. No matter what we love them with all of our hearts. That is the pure beauty of children.

Thanks Wynona for letting me photograph your family. See you soon!

These two again

I know, I know, there are so many pics of these two recently on my blog, but I just can't help it. They are so photogenic! I am post processing their family pics right now and needed a break so I had to post this one of them. Thanks for looking.

a little bit of me

For all you blog readers that like to put a name to a face... this is me and my wonderful family. My husband is away this weekend and it always makes me realize that when he is away I always miss him so much. I have been thinking lately that I am very lucky to do what I love, every day. I love to be with my family and I love photography. These two things take up most of my life, this has been my choice and I am glad to say that it was a good one. My good friend Jess took these pics within about 10 minutes and I am so happy she did because I will cherish there, especially the ones of my and my other half. Thanks Jess. I usually am the giver of photographs, so it is nice to be on the recieving end and be so excited to have pictures of my family. There are some other ones that I love too. We dragged my cute green fainting couch downtown and got some pics on it as well.

family

This family was so fun to photograph. First of all it was all adults, so that was a nice change. Second, they all have such fun personalities. You might recognize a couple of people in there. I did Nat and Russ's pics a few weeks ago downtown.
