fastest wedding shoot I have ever done.
Got there at 7pm, bride came out at 7:45...
groom missing for 15 minutes...?
Got group shots and some sisters photos...
Got 15 minutes of bride and groom...
Bride and Groom go back in the temple to change...
Family photos for 15 minutes, all the kids were SO done and it was past their bedtime...
Even though it was chaos, this family and bride and groom were extremely fun to work with.
I am really diggin' Ashley's shoes in this picture. Isn't the light beautiful? It was about 8:30 at this time.



Oh ya and about the workshop, I am still going back and forth for this October. I will announce very soon if I am doing it or not. Thank you for all your words of encouragement and emails! It really makes my day. I love blogging all because of you guys,,, well I think it's mostly gals.

Okay, so I am considering teaching a workshop in October... call me crazy I know. I have been getting tons of emails for my mentoring and cannot accommodate everyone. So, humor me and vote on this poll. It would be a 2 day workshop, downtown Salt Lake City. You must live at least 3 hours away to participate...

Textured Canvas Templates- $25

Here are my new canvas templates! I think they would work great in three's, all lined up next to each other. All 3 are sized at 100ppi, 12x12 inches. They can easily be resized to 6x6, 8x8, or 10x10's. Great way to sell a pack of three canvases. Great for printing at simply canvas or WHCC. I recommend printing these on Metallic canvas Matte finish. They will look great!

Yet, another..

mentoring session is complete. I had the best time with an amazing mother/daughter pair from Tennessee. They were so cute and fun and we had the best time talking photography and life. It is really fun getting to know other photographers and relate to each other about the business and everyday life. Every time I finish a mentoring session I leave feeling so happy to meet new, amazing people and hope they went home with inspiration and knowledge. I will miss you two!

This family was amazing to photograph, fun and open to anything. The parents were really worried about their kids saying they were really hard to photograph, but I loved them! Thanks Jeana for helping! If I had that family picture, I would have it huge in my home, I think I love it.

Children's Hour

I had a photo shoot with Children's Hour for their fall line and got to shoot this beauty. If you haven't made it in to Children's hour you need to go! She just opened up her fabulous new store, still on 9th and 9th, but it's now about 3 times the size.

So, I have to write 7 quirky things about myself... here goes.

1. I won't dress my twins alike, ever... okay so maybe on Halloween.
2. I still think I am a California girl even though I have lived in Utah now for 14 years.. oh man 14!
3. I can justify any shopping trip, for any reason.
4. I never thought I was obsessed with anything, thought I dabbled in everything until I started photography, it's a serious obsession...
5. My siblings think I am the weird one... little do they know I am the normal one and they are all weird.
6. I like to be in control, almost all the time. I am always freaking out about how Anthony drives, I have a hard time letting others control my fate!
7. I sing Feeling Groovy to Chloe at night when I put her to bed... she loves it, Tate not so much he starts flailing around like a dead fish.

Sneak peek of Christmas templates 2008

So. I have been thinking long and hard about what I wanted to do for my christmas templates this year... I thought and thought and then my brain hurt so I just forgot about it. Today, I sat down and came up with this. I love how it is simple, just simple. I will have a pack of 5 cards for Christmas, all trifolds and folded cards soon and then another set of 5x7 simple photo card templates as well. What do you think?

we came home from our trip one day early to have a recoop day day before Anthony goes back to work. Our trip was great even though our car had issues and our kids were sick (what's new). The beach was cold but no biggie because our kids decided they didn't like the water this year anyway. It was great to just go camping on the beach, take naps in perfect temperature outside, catch frogs, and sit around a campfire with the ones I love.

So, now I am back and ready to get caught up, if you are waiting for images it will be really soon! Here is more of this family that I loved, they were so fun to work with. I love when I show up to a shoot and you just click and the family just enjoys each other instead of having crazy expectations out of there children. This allows children to just be themselves and not have parents upset. Thanks for just being yourselves.

out of town

I will be out of town from July 17th-22nd. I will have limited email access so if there is something important just email me. We are going to the beach and the twins are turning two! How crazy. Don't you all worry, there will be a major shopping trip at H&M in Vegas on the way, in case you were wondering. Really, there is always a reason to buy my kids clothes, I don't think they can have too much.

How cute is he?? He had the biggest blue eyes and he was just so happy. I only have time to post one, I am off to Cali early in the morning. Today was a long one... after 3 sessions, locking my keys in the studio, and now having to pack I am one exhausted little chicka! Enjoy Jess! Thanks for walking all over downtown!

Baby "C"

This little guy was lovin being in a basket in a wheat field, only a few grasshoppers jumped on him so he wasn't too upset. I did this photoshoot for his big brother but of course I had to get pictures of the other 2 boys and even some fun family ones at the end of the session that I love. I will for sure post some more. Enjoy!

Here is my lil' sisters new baby! She brought her down to my studio and we had a little bit of fun. I mean what client would let me put their baby in a basket in a nasty alley?? Well, I think I love it and I think Bella is such a doll.

This is one of my favorite from this session. I have more to post (6 kids in all!), are you loving my one picture posts lately?? Little time and little sleep= little posts:) Aren't they both so adorable?

CoCo

This is my little Chloe. I had some alone time with her tonight so I took her out I am blown away by how big she looks in this image. She isn't even 2 yet! I seriously could stare at her all day. This little girl has so much personality and I love seeing her grow. I haven't posted much of my kids on my blog lately because they are so hard at this age to photograph, but after this I am realizing that I need to take them out more for photoshoots. Tate was out with dad most of the day doing boy stuff so it was nice having some time with Chloe. I love this little girl more than words can explain. I know all you moms out there can understand. Kids are serious hard work but all worth it.

Mentoring update

Mentoring sessions are booked for August! Thank you! I can't believe the response I have had with this, just finished my second one today and it was so fun, thanks Monica!

I will probably only teach a few more this fall because it is my busiest time of year, but I will continue again in January '09.
