Okay my local bloggers, I need some major help with my furniture problem. We have moved and I have very little furniture that I like so I am on the search for new couches and other furniture. I would love to know where your favorite furniture store in Utah is. Here is where I have gone so far:
RC Wiley
Civilization
CAMPO
Home Again
DownEast Home
Osmond Designs
IKEA
Any other great stores I am missing out on? And, oh my furniture is getting expensive! I might have to drop 3 grand on some couches because it's the only thing I like out there that my kids won't ruin!

The Ashley furniture store has some really gorgeous stuff and very reasonable prices. And there is someome in SL that can get Ashley stuff even cheaper. My inlaws just bought a few things from them. There are a lot of people that sale brand name stuff "wholesale".I bought a gorgeous table from a lady who does interior decorating for model homes. Good luck!
At Home Furnishings on Highland Drive has some beautiful stuff! My brother-in-law, Brad Davis, is the owner. Tell him "hi" for me if you see him.
Not a local but I look at furniture catalogs... what about Anthropologie, Ethan Allen, Ballard Designs, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware? Sorry, don't know if there are any of those in SLC.
We found our favorite couch at Bassett. Crazy, but they have some great stuff. And you usually can get 20% off. Good luck! Emi
"What's next" It's right off 90th south right next to the free way. Also Accent Home furnishings. It is on Bangater and I want to say 126th south. If not on 126th its the next one that takes you to Herriman. Can't go wrong there! Way cute and super good prices.
Have you tried Gardner Village. I worked there for 4 years and they have wonderful stuff. Try Down to Earth it seems like it would be more your style. Awesome furniture at great prices. This time of year is so much fun to bring the fam too.
my little furniture store in Layton or centerville?
Sweet Briar Hollow and Black Goose. Kind of pricey but AMAZING stuff! Who cares what the furniture looks like anyway as long as your walls are covered in canvas:)!
I like Bassett in provo because you can design the furniture yourself. Wait for a 20% coupon.
The Gatehouse in Orem is fabulous. They are a little pricey, but you get the best quality out there. The couches you buy there will last you a lifetime. They also have a lot of really cool interior design stuff.
Envy furniture in Draper
good prices I would not go any where else.
when you stop by you can see what we purchased.
I will get the phone # for you.
wow you ladies are great! Thank you SO much,,, more shopping to do~ will all my extra time.lol.
Ditto Down To Earth in Gardner Village. They have great stuff at very reasonable prices.
Oh....and Z Gallery at the Gateway! Sa-weet stuff there!
Angie, I read your blog all the time and get inspired by you every time I read your posts. I had to just pipe in here since I know of a furniture place in Utah that you might like.
If you like the stuff at Ikea you'll probably like a locally owned store on Highland Drive called Lofgrens. (http://www.lofgrens.com/)
Check it out.
Hopefully you'll find something you like.
(you can always try craigslist :)
yeah totally agreeing about micro fiber...I thought I was being smart...well less then a year later its looks gross...GO LEATHER! doesnt matter how lod they just ruin stuff :)
if you are willing to travel to Provo.. I M Home.
it's in the east bay and they have a ton of cute things that are always changing
Angie, I own an upholstery shop in Orem. We can make anything you can find a picture of....I love your photography and maybe we can even do a swap to keep your cost down. I'd love to learn a few tricks...The company is Red Fox Furnishings. lori@redfoxfurnishings.com
Down East furniture even has furniture in their orem store, really pricey stuff marked down for great prices!
Thomasville at state and 45th south is really cool - I love it. It's more expensive; and Ashley Furniture has alot of similar things for lower prices.
I think I've posted a comment, but if not HELLLLLLOOOOOO, I've been stalking for a few weeks now.
OH YEAH and I totally forgot this place you should see, it's called HOME AGAIN, and HOME AGAIN 2.
2 is in midvale by gardner village and its super cheap imports and consignment with tons of photog props and eccentric, shabby chic, country rustic, and stuff.
I totally agree with LEATHER!!! And if you hit it right, Down East has great stuff! Leather is great because you get to decide the look you want...but buy GREAT PILLOWS!! I love Evans Frontier in Orem...pricy but BEAUTIFUL!!!
Angie...this place is expensive. HOWEVER, I"ve looked high and low, and this stuff we figure we'll NEVER get rid of. www.horchow.com. We've bought a lot of our funiture here. Atleast look...you may fall in love like me. =)
Angie, check out www.quatrine.com. The most fabulous slip covered pieces! They are a bit expensive, but so worth it!
four chairs furniture in Lindon is so fun! Mostly stuff made out of woodk ya know tables, beds dressers......but they have all the paint and stain colors there and you pick it out and they finish it for you exactly how you want it. Cute home decor too......oh and sun river gardens in orem has awesome home decor! Are we crazy? lets go shopping!
