My Family part 2

Just have to say thanks so much to Jess for making our pictures such an easy experience. Loved them all.
I just love how my kids were so happy and natural in this session. Having your family pictures taken can be a stressful experience, finding the right photographer, right clothes, right location, and then praying that your kids won't blow a gasket along the way is also fun as well. I have learned to just be myself and let people in, it shows in the pictures if you are tense, nervous, stressed, etc. I love when families just let go, play with their kids, pretend I am not there, I know it's a vunerable state but nothing will make your pictures look better and add that true emotion. I could go on and on about this, but I won't!
Okay so anyways just a few that I loved...

My big sis

Okay so I had a crazy busy weekend, I realize I just don't have a lot of time anymore for a social life! Tis the season! Also, my kids have decided this week that they don't want to take naps anymore, I think I might cry for a while.

Okay so onto this cute little one... he has SO much personality and is so happy. Don't worry mom we got lots of smiling ones! Enjoy. Off to take some ibuprofen and back to editing. lol. I sound like a whiner.

My family urban style

Just a few because I need to remove my eyes from the computer. My good friend Jess from ByJessPhotography took these for me and I can't wait to post more. She really captured our family.

I wanted this picture of the red stairs and green building so bad and I love it. Chloe without a hat! Can you believe it? Oh and p.s. don't think I am going to be showing up to your session looking like this! Thank goodness for photoshop, lol.

I have tons from this awesome session (grandpa and 4 grandaughters, how cute is that?) and from our urban family session too. Just gotta find some time in between the messes, phone calls, editing, and of course shopping for my new place.

Mostly edited in Lightroom, I love the new Lightroom 2! I should be a salesperson for them...

to be able to photograph such little beauties! I really do feel lucky to do what I do. I think my favorite part of my job is to meet people that I never otherwise would have met. These 2 were so fun and gorgeous! Wish I could post more, but lack of time is killing me right now.

Beautiful girls

I photographed these girls in 45 degree weather and they did so well! I actually photographed the whole family so I will have to post more later.

"R" family

We braved the wind and the cold and carrying couches around to photograph this beautiful family. I haven't done a country session in a little while so it was nice to have something different. They are avid hikers so they wanted some mountains in the background, my trusty husband found this spot for me.






So, I brought Anthony along to help out and I got this hilarious shot of him, gotta love it. Sorry ladies, he's taken...

Furniture help..

Okay my local bloggers, I need some major help with my furniture problem. We have moved and I have very little furniture that I like so I am on the search for new couches and other furniture. I would love to know where your favorite furniture store in Utah is. Here is where I have gone so far:

These girls were so fun and easy to photograph. They are so different, one is a tom boy and the other a girly girl. It was fun to see how despite their differences they got along so well. Just had to post a few.

So we went up the canyon today to see the last of the beautiful leaves. It was quick because the kids were hungry but we had a great time. Seems like all I do is work lately so it was nice to have a fun weekend and I even got a nap! First we had the Matilda Jane Trunk show, which was so fun and dinner after at the Blue Iguana. Saturday was cleaning followed by shopping with my sis in law and nieces, so fun. Then my nieces stayed the night and played with the kids and even cleaned my house. I wished they would just move in full time! They even wathched the kids that night while Anthony and I went to go see Eagle Eye, I gave it a B. Sunday we played with the kids all day and just hung out with family. I haven't had a weekend like this in a while so it was really refreshing. Of course I snuck in a few hours of work in between (can't get too behind!!). Anyways, wanted to post a few of the people I love most.
(I edited these all in Lightroom, just upgraded to Lightroom 2, it seriously rocks!!)

Book Questions...

Does anyone know of a company, besides Asuka book, that prints 10x20 layouts instead of 10x10 pages for books? I know whcc does press printed hinged books, which I love, but I want a book that has the full 10x20 spread. Any help would be much appreciated!
