boys
I generally have sessions with girls, so I was so excited to have 2 boys at this urban session. They were so fun and a little older so they were more willing than little subjects! The younger one was really shy at first and didn't seem like he was going to let me take one picture, but as soon as I started telling him what to do he was on it! I love how every session is so different. These brothers have such a bond, they were so sweet! Thanks boys!

Urban senior sessions
When I say senior, I mean high school senior. Don't want there to be too much confusion here. Anyways, these 3 were so fun to photograph, it was quick, easy and fun- 3 words that don't come out of a photographers mouth that often.
I also want to thank everyone who comes and visits my blog, all the compliments really mean so much, thank you!
I have been posting everday lately! I think I will take a few days off and maybe clean my house or something, or maybe not...
Gardner Village
You might recognize the oldest in this post from a previous post, isn't she just beautiful? These kids were so adorable. Gardners Village was a fun place to have a session, and in honor of Halloween I had to post this one of little "H" in his dragon costume. I will have to post some more later, the kids are waking from their nap.

Oh how I love Seniors...
I had to post these images from today, I always walk by this door downtown but have never actually taken a picture in front of it. It is officially my new favorite place. You can't see it in the picture but there bed lying in the corner and crazy birds flying in and out of the broken down building next to it. You might say it is a disaster, I say it is an adventure...
With the black and white one, there was this amazing light that was just illuminating her face.
I will post more from this session later and a fun couples shoot from today as well.

A day with no rain...
I took my kids out yesturday because the weather was so beautiful. I have had to reschedule almost all my sessions this week because of the weather. That is hard thing about being a photographer, working around the light and the weather. I think that is also why I love it so much as well, it is a challenge. Every session is so different. You always have to be on your toes and then when it's over there is usually a rush of adrenaline, I am not sure why but I like it... So, I am sitting in my warm house right now enjoying playing around with my photos and spending time with my crazy little ones. I think that is what I like best about fall, it brings us back into our homes and back to basics.

Christmas cards
These are the cards that I have designed...
These are cards that I have purchased from another designer, I love these...
Here are examples of my Christmas cards. I have had a lot of my clients asking about them, so I am posting here so that people can choose which one they want. I can also design custom cards as well. Start planning now for your holiday cards because before you know it, it will be too late.

Moab Wedding
This one makes me laugh, they were totally up for anything...
Dad had to carry this little flower girl down the isle because she broke her leg a few days before the wedding.
This wedding was so fun to photograph, this couple was so laid back and just happy to be in Moab. The whole family flew out from Connecticut to be there. It was such a perfect backdrop. During the ceremony the light was so perfect, it was just beautiful. We took our kids down for the weekend as a "vacation" but if you have kids you know that any vacation with kids isn't really a vacation. After they tore apart the hotel room we went on a drive to Gemini Bridges. So beautiful, if you are going to Moab make sure you do this. Well, off to bed... More sessions tomorrow, hopefully it doesn't snow!

Tate
My sister, who is in training to be a pro photographer, took us out today and got some shots of Tate and even me. So I thought I would play around with them. The one of Tate in the tire is a little crazy, but I tried a cross processing trick and I think I like it. Anyways, I am trying to get some more of my little guy so I can plaster my house with more pictures. I love the one with me holding his hand with the telephone wires in the background, isn't that the best composition? Oh how I love my lil' sis.
