I cannot believe I have almost made it through August, this has been the busiest month of my life! Crazy, fun, and tiring all at the same time. Here is what I have been up to the past week or so, all of these pictures have been from mentoring sessions, I wanted to post some pictures for the models to see:)

I about died when these two girls showed up, they were so sweet and so beautiful!! I felt like such a lucky photographer!

And here is Jeana's little daughter who I adore, these pictures were taken by Caylee, (love her!!)

These were at a different mentoring session... loved this little guy and his beautiful mom Bre...

Introducing... Fancy Mats...$35

I am so excited to introduce these, I have been thinking about making these forever and finally sat down and completed them. I personally think that having a mat just seals my framing experience, but not all frames have mats... here is the answer. Basically I have created 5 different unique mats that are totally customizable in photoshop to use for your clients prints. Each mat is sized to 20x24, 16x20, 11x14, 8x10, and 5x7. I love the clean, simple look to them.
I just imagine these mounted in IKEA Black frames, voila!

I hope you enjoy!

Congrats!

Just wanted to post a quick picture from Jason and Annie's wedding last week. The shoot was at noon, so a challenge for good light, but my hubby came along and helped out a bit,,, a bit I remind you..:)

Finally... 2 year old pictures...

I finally decided to take my crazy ones out to get some pictures. They were all over the place as I expected and when your husband is with you and wanting to be done in 10 minutes it turns out to be a fun situation:) I did get a few that I like, but I really wanted to get some pictures of them at this age because I know I will regret it if I don't. They are definately at their terrible two's already but somehow I still think they are the cutest things ever.

Not tack sharp, but I still love it because they are both somewhat behaving:)

Here is an outtake when Tate & Chloe were eyeing the candy.

this is a little smirk he does sometimes...

posing for candy.

another outtake, chloe always makes this face, so attractive eh?

I am taking 5 days off to enjoy some time with my best friend who is flying in from Georgia, I am thinking movies, shopping, thrift stores, and lots of food! Yeah, party time. Hopefully my husband will be up for staying home with the kids:)

Workshop Postponed...

After much consideration this week I have decided to postpone the workshop until Spring for many reasons. I know I will be dissapointing a few people, so I am very sorry. I think it will work out for the best for most people. Email me if you are interested in a spring workshop and I will create an email list for when I pinpoint a date (most likely April).

Thanks again for all the support I get from fellow photographers, it means the world to me.

Oh the curls...

I seriously love his curls, could he be any cuter? He was so funny because he wanted to sleep so bad at the beginning of the session and it took him a little while to wake up. We would sit him up on something and he would just lay his head down... what 2 year old does that? He did so well, my kids would be running all over the place acting like maniacs! His mom is having a little girl in one week, she is tiny!!

Check your SPAM..

My email is going to people's SPAM folder a lot, so if you haven't heard from me after you have sent an email, check your spam folder. If there is nothing in there, then I am just avoiding you. jk.

More of this wonderful family...

I loved this session, this 2 year old was seriously one of the best. He actually had lots of genuine smiles and just did whatever I asked, why can't all 2 year olds be like that, especially mine. The two words I hear most in my household is "no way". Thanks Jess and Mandy for the help and location was awesome thanks to Jess!

*** Speaking of 2 year olds,,,
On a side note, just because it made me a proud mama, Chloe went in the potty today all by herself! holy cow, maybe early potty training? Then Tate saw us congratulating her so he ran over to the bathroom and peed on the bathroom floor and then ran away (he had just gotten out of the bath, he isn't just naked all the time, lol). TMI?

this was my fave of him..

how about 10 posts today??

Anyone know..

How to get permanent sharpee marker off of a Mac computer screen. Chloe worked her magic on my screen last week, so I have been editing on the left side of the screen for the past week!!! AHHHH!

Proud Auntie...

I am the proud Aunt of my cute nephews Carter and Logan. They were models for a mentoring session last week I had with Mandy, who I loved and hope to see her again! They were so cute and we had an afternoon together.
Logan, was my best little bud and I used to pretend like he was my child when he was a little guy and we couldn't get pregnant. He is just sweet as ever, well until he starts full out brawling with Carter who is the crazy one! They actually enjoyed getting dressed up and getting their pictures taken and I felt like a nervous mom hoping they would perform.

this one was my favorite,,, how cute are they together!

Urban love,,, J&A

This session was fun, simple and pretty easy I might say. Isn't she a classic beauty? Her and her mom designed and made this dress,,, amazing! She is stunning and her husband to be (next week) I think would have to agree with me. Thanks you two for putting up with the stinky alleys and scorching hot sun:)
Angie

this one was my favorite from this session, I edited in Lightroom (which I rarely do) and then tweaked it a little in photoshop...
