Logo Help

Okay, so for over a year I have been struggling with what I want to do with my logo... I actually got one designed, loved it and then changed my mind the next week because it was too frilly... Anyways, I need help from you photographers on who designs awesome logos. I want something simple, sassy, yet elegant. If you would just leave a comment and a link to any sites you recommend I will love you forever!

Angie - the girl who did mine is not really advertising that she does them - but imo - she is FABULOUS. Go to her website at amyd.typepad.com and tell her you know me. She's also an aspiring photog. But she started in design and she.is.fab! ;)

Angie,

I'm not really some great photographer, as I have just started last year, but I have two ideas.

First, Nick Onken is a famous photographer (you probably knew that) and his site/blog has a lot of great ideas along the lines of logos, branding, etc.

Also, I teach LDS Seminary and the other teacher on my faculty is an INCREDIBLE web and logo designer. His portfolio is at www.jaredmarcum.com Jared is in high demand across the country but only does part time, freelance stuff. If you are interested in using him, let him know I sent you (I don't even know what that means, but he would get a kick outta that).

BTW, I absolutely love, love, love your work. You can't seem to take an uninspiring shot. I study your images and have learned so much...so thanks....

I like what you have.

My hubby is a logo designer.
You can look at his stuff at www.hazelstudio.com.

I did my own, and it's quite simple... I don't know...
It's tricky to settle on something, especially when it's your identity.

thanks SO much everyone. I think I have a hard time settling on anything that is suppose to be long term! I change everything in my life about every 6months, except husband and kids, lol.

Hi Angie,
I am like you. I have hard time to settle something for long term. I am a super duper slower buyer. However, I recently found out some photogs do something like rejuvenating type of thing. They kinda relaunch their biz or website..something like that. they even got a new logo (e.g.jessica claire & Jasmine Star). So that gives me a push-now I am going to have a painter (from our ward) to design my logo and I would photograph his fam or his work. I tell myself I will like it no matter what. (I really need to save $$ for a new lens ). If I want to change it in the future, I will feel fine with it too.
Just my two cents.
