"W" Family

I loved this session too! I just love all my clients. Could they be any cuter? I don't think so. This session was way fun, they are from Oregon visiting family so I got to show them the scary part of downtown with their kids, I know I know, I am a giver... I really enjoyed editing this session, I think I took like 8 million photos as this session.

She just about killed me, how photogenic is she? I could photograph her all day long.

Boys with personality...

I LOVED these boys, seriously the way interacted with each other was so funny and cute. I love when kids warm up real quick to me and don't hold back. Some of their poses were really funny and they were totally into it. The whole family had wonderful style and such fun personalities!
I am caught up with editing, this could be the happiest day in the past 3 months! I do have tons of orders in the works so be patient with me, I am working really hard to be my word:)

I'm BACK!

I am home safe and sound and I am already back to editing, AHH. Well, the trip was so fun and it was nice to have a break. My kids just loved playing with all their cousins. The drive there was total crap because Tate decided to scream for 4 straight hours, nothing would make that little guy happy! Anyways, turkey day was great and I have lots of photos to share of my all my brothers and sisters but I have to share a few photos from Virginia City. This was such a fun part of my trip, I met up with Kelli from France Photography and we had a Mommy/Daughter date in the old town of Virginia city. It is a photographers paradise. We got lots of random stares but who cares, it was fun! Chloe was so funny, total pill at the beginning but then she saw Kelli's little girl posing and she was getting into it at the end. I love spending one on one time with my kids, I feel a little sane when I do!

Out of town...

I will be out of town from tomorrow (Tues the 25th) to Sat. (the 29th). I will in Tahoe with my family, just my brothers and sisters this time, I think it will be a blast, 20 grandkids, it's really going to be insane.

I will have limited phone and email, so please be patient with me... I need some time away from my computer!

oh my...

I am in love with these kids! They were all so adorable, dressed amazingly, and so easy going. I have had so many fun clients lately. Sometimes I just have to give it up to those supermoms that arrange all their outfits, pack them all in the car, take them downtown, find parking, hike up 3 flights of stairs, and STILL decide that it is worth it to come and see me. I love it! I am SO swamped, but I can kind of see the light at the end of the tunnel. Is it sad that I am wishing for Christmas to be over?

I know...

I know.. I have been a total blog slacker! but...yes there is a but... it's the only way I can possibly get caught up. I sat in front of my computer for 10 straight hours yesterday and I am almost there! I just had to post one from a family session the other night.
I did a painted look in photoshop, not sure if it worked exactly how I wanted it, but I still love this photo and these girls were beyond adorable.

This was on a day where I had 3 sessions, they were my last and it was great to get a little bit of their energy! These girls made me want to go and hang with my sisters! I have 3 sisters and we are all so close, what would I do without them?


I got so many funny dancing ones. They got a few honks from passerby's.

Urban Beauty

I had such an amazing session tonight, 4 wonderful kids and their mom dressed them up so amazing. I will have to post more, but right now I am overloaded with tons of other work. I know there are like 8 sessions waiting to be blogged, not sure if that is going to happen! I will try my hardest:)

I loved how natural she was in front of the camera and check out her beautiful, full, pouty lips!

Couture Mats- $40

These gorgeous digital mats are all sized to 20x24, you can resize them to any size you want without distorting the damask. I had them sized in all different sizes but it was just way to large of files to be sending (2GB!). They are layered photoshop files and fully customizable, you can change colors of the design as well as the background. They could be used in all different kinds of frames, even canvases. Very versatile & lovely!!

I am a lucky photographer. Erica was a breeze to photograph, so natural in front of the camera. I am really enjoying seniors lately, they don't run away from me, the usually don't cry, and they want their picture taken! Couldn't you see her in a J Crew catalogue?

Mentoring preview...

I had another great mentoring session yesterday! I had two great photographers that were friends from Florida and California. Most of the pictures of the little girls (such great little models!) weren't taken by me, they did so great with the models and I cannot believe what an amazing photo of Afton they got, I am so in love!

Also, these senior models were so great, we had hardly any light left but they rocked it out in 30 minutes. I loved these girls, so natural in front of the camera.

Halloween

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. My kids understood the candy part but didn't understand saying Trick or Treat after people would open the door. It was good times since I am not a huge holiday person, but kids just bring magic back to the holidays.

This is my friend Kelly, you might recognize her girls, I photograph them all the time. I know Kelly is anxious to see a few so here you go my friend. Her girls did extremely well at the shoot. Lucky even had some poses set up for me when I wasn't looking, hilarious. She was working her ANTM poses. A girl after my own heart.
