Moab Wedding

This wedding went very smoothly, perfect light, such a fun laid back couple. Anthony came along and he got some great shots too, I think we are a good pair shooting together, which I totally wouldn't think we would be because of my "bossy" nature!
Anyways, the landscapes were perfect, weather perfect, can't ask for a better location for a wedding. This couple chose Moab as their destination wedding, they drove all the way from IOWA and have been enjoying the "pretty" for about a week now. Brad, stay off those 4-wheelers... you have a wife to look after now.. lol.

Reminder, Matilda Jane Trunk Show: This Friday!

We changed the time from 5-8pm so everyone will have more time to stop in.
We also will be going for dessert afterward just for kicks so come and play, even just for girls night out!

New Templates! Yeah, finally found some time to post these.

Out of town... once again.

I am going to Moab this weekend to photograph a wedding. My husband is coming along and we are going on a 3 hour horse ride and I am not so sure how I feel about it. We'll see when I get back. I like to look at horses and pet them, but I kinda have a fear of them and I am a little allergic... sounds fun!

Okay so I had to post just one... how cute is he?? I have tons more to post from this family session! Such an adorable family and the kids were so well behaved!

Mentoring sessions

I am currently booked until April '09 and will no longer be booking mentoring sessions at this time. I am very overwhelmed and something has to give. If I decide to do them again, I will announce it on the blog:) thanks to all of you who have mentored, it has been a fun journey.

All boys...

I had another mentoring session yesterday and we had all boy models. 2 year old twin boys in the studio, it lasted about 20 min but Jennifer got some great images of little D&J. Then there was 4 year old Mason, that is my good friends little guy. He is seriously the sweetest little thing ever.


These images were shot by Jennifer, great right? The things you have to do to get 2 year olds to even look at you is so funny.

So tonight my friend Michelle and I went scouting new locations. Took the twins and her little girl Aspen. Meltdown central for my kids, 2 year olds are the best right? I love them even more in a contained space with access to lots of food and milk (they are hungry all the time). Just had to post this image of Chloe (she had a rough day, check out the bangs, hilarious).

the worlds happiest 1 year old. he was so fun and easy. only a few, of course lack of time lately is driving me insane. the unpacking is not going so good and I avoid it at all costs...lol.

Resembles little red riding hood? She is daughter of the new designer I have for templates. I chased her around the studio and I think she was done in about 10 minutes, but that is what to expect out of a 1 year old:) Thanks for coming in Lila!

Oh the lovely models...

Loved all these models from the last mentoring session I had with a really fun and sweet photographer named Holly. Okay, so the boy/girl cuties are not twins, they are cousins and so cute together. I think Mr. Aidan about killed me with his killer looks, so great in front of the camera and check out that awesome black and white hat from Knuckleheads, my new fave find from Tiara boutique. Little Lanie was so nervous at first but after a while she warmed up to us... thank you all for coming!

Snow Family

I have been so excited to post these images, worked on like 10 of them last night and then Chloe came in and turned off the computer... gotta love 2 year olds. These 4 were so fun to work with, I love willing subjects! I wish I could post like 50 but I have little time these days...

I also wanted to say thank you thank you thank you to everyone who visits my blog, it makes my job really rewarding to be able to share images from my sessions and interact with such fun and amazing people. thank you. I seriously do feel so lucky every morning I wake up to be doing what I do for a living.






this was my favorite of Bailey, she loved getting her picture taken and oh so natural in front of the camera!
