Anyone know..

How to get permanent sharpee marker off of a Mac computer screen. Chloe worked her magic on my screen last week, so I have been editing on the left side of the screen for the past week!!! AHHHH!

I would suggest rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. Good luck!

love your blog, have been following it for a few weeks now. you have the most vivid colors in your pictures, simply breath taking... about the computer. my son did the same thing to my computer a few years ago. i used baby wipes, and it came right off. good luck!!

I don't know about computer screens but my little ones wrote on my wood dining room table with a permanent marker...guess what got that out, toothpaste!! These kids are crazy!!! lol...

Not sure about computer monitors (I'd be afraid of scratching the surface), but liquid dishwashing detergent worked on my antique couch fabric. My MIL said that bleach dipped on a Qtip works for wood, maybe it would for the monitor? Good luck and tell us what ends up working!

Windex...my daughter did the same thing...I figured that it was already ruined and I couldn't do much more to harm it, so I gave it a try..much to my surprise...no more sharpy, not even a smugde!

A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser... I got it to work to get rid of Sharpie on some laminated things in my classroom. Might work!

Try GooGone. That is magic too but not abrasive. Sometimes if I scratch hard enough with the magic eraser I can take the paint right off the walls. :)

So, my 2 year old took a sharpie to my computer screen and I got it off with a lot of scrubbing and clorox wipes. I just about cried! You have to be careful using chemicals because it will leave the glass milky! Good luck and I feel your pain!
